This is the right side view. Again the window openings above the three lower walls. The
rebar column with the plastic pipe inside it will form a concrete column to support the roof
over the front and side porch. The pipe will drain water from the roof. Each of the four
corners of the overall structure will contain pipe to drain the roof rain water. (Nov 6, 2008)
Looking closely you can see our church building rising up out of the "jungle". To the left you
can see Edgar loading rocks into a wheelbarrow. This will be the entrance area to the
building. Most of the small trees (actually coffee plants) will be cut to make way for a
sidewalk two meters wide from the road to the front doors. (Nov 6,2008)
Marlyn Orellana and her fellow university student are completing their final report on a
community project in the village of San Miguel Yalu. Our house has a good Internet access.
Marlyn is also half owner of the house where we live!! Marlyn is a perfectionist in her school
work. She finished first in every subject when she graduated from teachers "college". She
has come close several times to receiving the Lord. Please, please pray for her and Juan
Carlos. She is like a daughter to us. She listens to me talk about the Lord and you can
almost see her heart open up. When decision time comes it closes again.
This is Maria Creciencia Abercrombe Y Fitch. Not really. She is Maria
Martinez. She helps Barbara keep the house somewhat clean.
